Israel visitor visa from Romania.
Guidance for Sri Lankan passport holders who are legally resident in Romania and need passport-specific instructions from the Embassy in Bucharest.
Apply through the mission in your country of legal residence.
For an applicant legally residing in Romania, the Embassy of Israel in Bucharest is the relevant first contact.
The Embassy’s visitor-visa page says applicants must schedule an appointment and may need a valid passport, three months of bank statements, employment confirmation, accommodation, travel plans, insurance and two photographs. Citizens of other countries are told to contact the mission for specific instructions.
Documents commonly requested by the Bucharest mission.
- Passport valid beyond the intended visit
- Valid Romanian residence permit and proof of address
- Recent bank statements and employment evidence
- Accommodation and proposed return travel
- Travel medical insurance and compliant photographs
- Completed form plus any Sri Lanka-specific documents requested
ETA‑IL is for visa-exempt nationalities. A Sri Lankan applicant should obtain visa-specific confirmation from the mission instead of assuming a Romanian residence card creates visa exemption.
Confirm before booking non-refundable travel.
The official Embassy page lists appointment and consular contact information for Bucharest. Requirements can change or additional checks may apply.
