EUROPEAN TRAVELER S.R.L. is a Romania-based online travel support business. We may also coordinate support and payment collection through European Traveler, Sole Proprietorship, Reg. No. U/BU/2386, Sri Lanka, where relevant to the customer service or payment process.

2. Data We May Collect
Depending on the service requested, we may collect and process the following customer data:
- Name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address and preferred contact language.
- Passport details, passenger names, date of birth, nationality and other travel document information when required for booking or document support.
- Travel dates, routes, destination details, baggage needs, hotel preferences and booking information.
- Visa and travel-document support information provided by the customer.
- Payment records, bank transfer confirmations, invoices, receipts and service fee information.
- Customer support messages sent by phone, WhatsApp, email, website forms or other official channels.
- Website technical data, including device, browser, IP address, cookie data and website performance information.
3. Why We Use Customer Data
We use customer data for lawful business purposes, including:
- Flight ticket booking assistance, hotel booking assistance, tour planning and travel support.
- Preparing quotations, checking availability, communicating with suppliers and supporting bookings.
- Customer support, service communication and responding to requests.
- Invoicing, payment processing, payment confirmation and accounting records.
- Legal compliance, tax records, fraud prevention, dispute handling and business administration.
- Website performance, security, analytics and service improvement.
4. GDPR Lawful Bases
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process personal data using one or more lawful bases:
- Contract or pre-contract steps: to prepare quotations, support bookings and provide requested services.

5. Sharing Data With Third Parties
EUROPEAN TRAVELER may act as an intermediary between customers and airlines, hotels, tour operators, transport providers, embassies, payment providers, banks and other third-party suppliers.
To provide travel support, we may share necessary information with airlines, hotels, tour operators, transport providers, visa/document service providers, embassies, consulates, immigration authorities, payment processors, banks, IT providers, professional advisers or public authorities when legally required.
6. International Transfers
Travel services often require data to be shared outside Romania, the European Economic Area or Sri Lanka. For example, an airline, hotel, embassy, consulate, immigration authority or travel supplier may be located in another country. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards and share only the information reasonably needed for the requested service.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the service requested, customer support, accounting, tax, legal, fraud prevention and dispute-resolution purposes. Retention periods may vary depending on the booking, invoice, payment record, supplier rule or applicable law.
8. Security
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect customer data. Customers should not send payment card numbers, airline passwords or unnecessary sensitive personal information through unsecured channels. Where a document is required, customers should send it only through the official communication channel requested by EUROPEAN TRAVELER.
9. Customer Rights
Where GDPR applies, customers may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, data portability or withdrawal of consent. These rights may be limited where we must keep data for legal, accounting, fraud prevention or dispute purposes.

10. Children
Travel bookings for minors must be handled by a parent, legal guardian or authorised adult. We may process minor passenger data only when needed for travel, booking or document support.
